These terms apply when you buy from stlow.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them. If something isn't clear, emailhello@stlow.co.uk before ordering and we'll explain.
1. Who we are
St Low is a trading name of [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME LTD], a company registered in England and Wales under company number[######]. Our registered address is[FARM ADDRESS, POSTCODE].

2. Ordering
Placing an order on stlow.co.uk is an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send the dispatch confirmation email — not the order acknowledgement. A contract is formed only at that point.
If we can't fulfil your order — for example a product is out of stock, the price was listed in error, or we're unable to deliver to your address — we'll let you know and refund any payment in full.
You must be 18 or over to place an order.
3. Pricing & payment
All prices are in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery is calculated at checkout and shown clearly before you pay. Payment is taken at the point of order through Shopify's secure checkout.
We make every effort to keep prices accurate, but if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full.
4. Delivery
We dispatch within two working days of receiving your order. Delivery is then handled by Royal Mail or our courier of the day. UK delivery typically takes 2–3 working days from dispatch.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If you're not in to receive the parcel, the courier will follow their standard re-delivery process; we are not responsible for delays once a parcel has been correctly addressed and dispatched.

5. Cancellation & returns
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of delivery, with these exceptions:
- Sealed food products (tallow jars) that have been unsealed after delivery cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, unless they are faulty.
- Unopened, undamaged jars may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. You are responsible for return postage.
To cancel an order or start a return, emailhello@stlow.co.uk with your order number. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods back (or proof that you've sent them).
6. Faulty or damaged goods
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, or if we send the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of receipt with a photo. We will replace the item or refund you in full — whichever you prefer — and you will not need to return the faulty goods.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything in these terms.
7. Use of our products
Tallow is a food product and a skincare ingredient. Store as indicated on the label. Best before dates are printed on each jar. We make no specific medical claims about our products and recommend you consult a qualified professional before using tallow if you have a known allergy or skin condition.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
Subject to that, our total liability to you for any single order is limited to the price you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
9. Intellectual property
All content on stlow.co.uk — including photography, text, logos, design, and code — is owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, or use it commercially without our written permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it.
